A Day at the African Lion Safari

Maxx flew back to Vancouver on Monday after 5 months in Ontario and we miss him already. We spent his last full day here at African Lion Safari where he and Meg had lots of fun. Luckily no pieces of my car were taken by the monkey's this time!

Meg Say's Goodbye to her Crib

For months we have been talking to Meg about saying goodbye to her crib and moving her into a 'big girl bed'. She was never keen on the idea so I thought taking her shopping for a new bed would do it. We headed to Home Hardware on a Monday, picked a bed and Friday of the same week it was delivered. She was not excited until the day it came and she helped daddy take apart her old bed that morning. Since then she has come to love her bed and has even had her first sleep over!

Hello new bed! She is using the same quilt mommy had on her bed when she was little

First sleepover was with auntie Marnie - it lasted about an hour before Marnie came downstairs until Meg fell asleep and then went back to bed :)

Fantastic Memories...Remembering Grandpa Evans

Bissell Hideaway

A few weekends ago we went to Bissell Hideaway and had a great time. It is paradise for kids - great water park, pool, paddle boats, mini golf, crafts and lots of room to runaround. Both Meg and Maxx told us they prefer 'camping' in a cabin like we did at Bissell's better than a tent. Surprise, surprise!

The water park was perfect for little kids. They could run and play for hours.

Snack time!

...Meg and I at the back. How did I get stuck with the two-year-old and steering?

Maxx loved Jen and Kevin's dog Sally. None of our camping trips would be complete without her!
